Previous to this game, Atlanta had came out this year strong, but I am proud to report that I picked New Orleans in this game. I heard Sean Salisbury say, "nobody gave them (the Saints) much of a chance." I gave myself a pat on the back when I heard that. Sean is a bit of a blowhard, but at least he champions the Chargers.
It's funny how the local news is so giddy over the Redskins finally winning when all they did is beat the Texans. Like Brees, Brunell is simply too short to play in the modern game and has to manuever out of the pocket to get over defenders heads and to see the field and it limits his effectiveness considerably. As an added handicap, he is simply too old. The Redskins would be one of the best teams if they got a better offensive line and quarterback. Until they do, I don't see them doing much. Culpepper and B. Johnson and to a lesser extent, Favre, Bledsoe and Warner are okay, but they are all getting too old also.
