i practically bought it the day it came out and i thought it was boring as all hell i've tried to listen to it three times and can't manage to listen to it all the way, it almost ruined death for me.

Excellent list. I liked that I had to look up a couple of names. Michaelangelo does my head in, which is weird given I can suffer the rest of the list... it's that fucking double-necked guitar... what a prick. Again, I realise they're all pricks in some ways... Yngwie particularly. And I noticed, by watching some youtubes, that they all have horrific techniques (thumbs all over the place). I'm still going with Yngwie. Although my current fave 'straight' guitarist if Franco [Luambo Makaidi].
