New Spiritualized Album
 

New Record Coming out in March.

Sweet news! I'm a Jason Pierce lifer. From Spacemen 3 to Spiritualized, there's nothing but awesomeness.

I heard talk of this a few months ago, but no title was out, and no release date. It's the band's first album since 2008's Songs in A&E (which kinda sucked for Spiritualized, but was still probably the best album of the year).

I'm giddy. Spiritualized is one of my fav. groups. Hope it doesn't blow.

Anybody have anything to say about Pierce, Spiritualized, or Spacemen 3? I'm sure there are fans here.

Big fan of both bands. I'd still like to see Spacemen 3 reform at some point, Sonic Boom has talked about it and said if the group did get back together he'd want to record new material. Jason seems pretty ambivalent to the idea and has rebuffed most of Sonic's advances which is a shame.

The new Spiritualized album should be good though, definitely one to look forward to.

I actually should give A&E such a bad wrap. It was a good album, even if the word "fire" was excruciatingly overused. I really like that "Baby I'm just a fool" song. Real fucking good.

yeah im happy to hear this. ive always loved spiritualized while on long drives.

Yeah, hearing this sent me into a spiritualized frenzy where in i listened to all of their studio albums in order.

Strarted with pure phase on the way to work, listened at every down moment I had during the day. I was on Let it come down on the way home and there was a traffic jam so I actually got half way through A&E.

Enjoyed listening to the new track this morning. My favorite kind of Spiritualized tune. High hopes for new album.

songs from AnE had a couple of great songs, and the artwork of the book version I got was simple, beautiful and actually quite touching considering his time in hospital. But the music wasnt quite up to scratch as a whole on repeated listens. Not sure im a fan anymore to be honest.

My brain must not have been functioning. Laser-Guided started the day. What was I thinking?
