The teeming Autumn big with rich increase...

...bearing the wanton burden of the prime like widowed wombs after their lords decease.

Is it the time of year? There seems to be a fair bit of flirting going on on the board the last few weeks.

You know who you are.

Makes you feel all warm inside.

this place has always been a dating pool.

static-harmony 10.18.2006 05:35 PM

I haven't been flirting I swear I haven't.

Aw, Shakespeare. Aren't we the romantic?

I thought spring was nature's seasonal aphrodesiac.

There is a harmony in autumn, and a luster in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been!

static-harmony 10.18.2006 05:38 PM

I always thought fall and winter where when people fell in love.

Pookie 10.18.2006 05:38 PM

Indeed, Autumn is the most romantic season.

static-harmony 10.18.2006 05:40 PM

Yeah, I mean was more romantic than to fall in love in a cold season and cuddle after sex.

Agreed; autumn is the best season full stop. But literature would typically disagree, wouldn't it?

Anyhow, you mean to say there is more flirting going on here than usual? I like to think of myself as an egalitarian lech.

Pookie 10.18.2006 05:43 PM

Maybe I've just noticed more flirting lately.

static-harmony 10.18.2006 05:45 PM

Flirting is a safe sport, I think people are designed to flir, what do you think?

pokkeherrie 10.18.2006 05:45 PM

i once read a theory that said there's a lot of flirting in autumn because people don't want to be alone during the cold and dark winter days.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 10.18.2006 05:45 PM

i love winter

"My sorrow, when she's here with me, thinks these dark days of autumn rain are beautiful as days can be; she loves the bare, the withered tree; she walks the sodden pasture lane."

There's the mixture of romance, but the sense of something dying, which is true in a way, but more change than decay.

We sat in some woods today with our daughter listening to the birds and the sound of acorns and leaves falling to the ground.

That sounds reasonable. but if it could be proven it would be amazing. That would explain me flirting with anybody.Guy or Girl.

Pookie 10.18.2006 05:47 PM

And yes, flirting can be fun, even if you know it's just that.

static-harmony 10.18.2006 05:48 PM

I wonder how many people have flirted just to get something?

Pookie 10.18.2006 05:49 PM

I've firted just to get something: a warm feeling in my groin.

static-harmony 10.18.2006 05:50 PM

HAHAh, I wonder how many girls flirt to get something.
