Gutted isn't the word. Thought he was on the mend and Beastie Boys were getting ready to release another album.

Considering there are some many musicians who are all "me me me" he seemed a good change. One of the good ones gone there.

This is sad. I saw Beastie Boys live more than any other band. Also one of my earliest gigs was them and Run DMC.

Truly nothing has ever compared to hearing the bass from Paul Revere played live.

I feel like listening to "Ricky's Theme" and having a drink.

Terribly sad news, really liked his parts in Beastie Boys songs. Sure Shot still plays in my head regularly cause its so catchy. They were one of the best rap bands, and one of the best hardcore bands.
