Hey, someone can tell about a good website that gives information for music shows in NY?

Zebulon Café Concert is one of many good places. Okkyung Lee, Ryan Sawyer & C. Spencer Yeh will be performing for free tomorrow. If your friend has a recorder, I beg you to instigate him to go to this and fucking tape it:

if he is into folky or brassy music then the barbes and jalopy in brooklyn are great venues.

and the pollstar website has a list of a lot of shows in every town. more mainstreamy stuff though.

eardrumnyc was a good site but its been down lately and OhMYRockness is ok if you can put up with the name. Downtown Music Gallery has a weekly show list they send out with their updates for free jazz and progressive music. I always watch the listings at Northern Spy records, Union Pool, Roulette, Issue Project ROom, and of course ToddP is the man and his website links to most of the loft type spaces.
