I thought the whole Twin Cities area was full of Swedes. Nords of some kind, anyway, right?

Possibly. Northfield is about 40 miles south of the cities, though. It's mostly just snobby college students. I'll fit right in.

Oh, well, then, chances are there won't be hardcore Swedes. As a college town, maybe there will even be some diversity. I bet there are even kids there of German and Irish descent. A few, anyway.

So, I won't have to look out for Swedish gangs? What colours do these gangs wear so I can fit in if I accidentally step into the wrong neighborhood?

They mostly dress in pleated khaki pants with brown belt, blue button-down shirts (tucked, always), tie optional, and brown oxfords. Also identified by London Fog overcoats and those Elmer Fudd type hunting caps.
