Snow/Ice Day!

It's an absolutely errible day. It's about as grey as the colour of this post a reply box. Thankfully, school was closed, becase I'm also not feeling too good (probably due to the weather). But whatever. I went in the basement and got an extra couple hours of sleep, so that's a good thing.
Talk about snow-days you've had from school and stuff!

Pizza-time!

king_buzzo 11.28.2006 12:52 PM

k-krack 11.28.2006 12:54 PM

Muah-hah-hah-hah! We had pizza last night, so sweet deals!

Danny Himself 11.28.2006 12:57 PM

Where are you!?!?

They have snow days in WA too.

stenson 11.28.2006 01:02 PM

the fuck is snow? Is that the powdery white stuff that's the renamence of god's cum that falls on northerners?

gmku 11.28.2006 01:07 PM

I shoveled neighbors' driveways one time so I could earn 8 bucks to buy All Things Must Pass. Trudged through four feet of snow, aftermath of the previous night's blizzard, exhausted from all the shoveling, 10 blocks downtown to the Woolworth's store to get my mittens on my George album.

Sweet! I don't care much for the Beatles aside from the White Album and George's songs. I much prefer his tunes to John+Paul's.

Not involving snow, but last week I had a four day 'weekend,' we had a trip to toronto one day, a PA day the next, and then saturday+sunday.

lucyrulesok 11.28.2006 01:22 PM

meh, i don't think i've ever got a day off school because of snow....
london is a bit rubbish on the ol snow front!

we do occasionally get enough of a smattering to go sledging though, which is always mighty fun (a couple of winters ago we broke into the park on the way home from some club and sledged all high on e, it was awesome!)

jon boy 11.28.2006 01:25 PM

snow in england is a rareity these days. if it does happen then the whole country grinds to a hault. what are the odds for a white out at atp?

Silly bastard. That would've been worthwhile if you'd snowboarded home on the record.

One of many good reason we should not be part of the city of Ottawa.
I didn't go to school today either, I stayed home and slept til 1:45. Which was a bad move cause I'm going to be tired as fuck tomorrow.

Remember that swell ice storm we had? They extended my school's Christmas break for a good 20 days

Inhuman 11.28.2006 04:16 PM

Yeah I know! The power went out quite a bit, and then there were those people bragging about how they had a generator. I personally love when the power goes out, You can play acoustic songs and record mixtapes on walkmans.

hahahahahha that's so funny I'm only laughing because I forgot to the first time I read it

You realize you're making fun of what the 14-year-old me did back then when the album was brand new and liking the Beatles was way cool. There weren't even snowboards back then, so even if I hated the album, the thought of snowboarding on it wouldn't even have occurred to me. You've made a prochronism.

So there.

static-harmony 11.28.2006 05:02 PM

What is Snow?

gmku 11.28.2006 05:12 PM

In L.A., I believe it's also known as coke, snort, nose candy.
