Brooklyn: the NYPD is looking for a person who keeps on requesting backup (signal 10-13's) at the Bushwick Houses area over NYPD frequencies with a lost NYPD radio stating a police officer is down causing officers to respond for assistance & its ending up unfounded. Suspect called in today a total of 8 signal 10-13's over the radio. NY06
(note, an plainclothes cop was shot at that location recently)

i feel like whoever has the radio could have more fun with it...like look up the list of signals and call in some really bizarre things.

NYPD are the assholes that instructed mentally ill homeless people to go to Occupy Wall Street and fuck with them. They would drop off the worst nutters at Occupy Wall Street. Bloomberg and Ray Kelly - two pieces of turd in the same colon fighting over who gets squeezed out first....

Also wasn't there a thing in the news a while back about the extreme number of people people jailed because they had had drugs planted on them by the nypd so officers could meet their arrest quotas?

Plus when I was in NY about 12 years ago a couple of cops were very rude to me.

This Friday the wife and I saw Paul Mooney do his standup at the Improv.

One of the things he said is if you are in trouble and have to call 911, make sure you say "officer down" or else they aren't coming for you. It made em think of this thread!

planted drugs and guns is nothing new. What was happening here was in stop and frisk, some kids would be walking down the street and the cops would order them to empty their pockets. So if they were holding a joint they would get arrested - the cops are going out of their way to destroy these young people's futures. You don't get college aid when you have a "drug" violation on your record. the things is, the kids didn't have to obey the cops. But the cops basically forced them to. Its fucking evil. Nearly two and a half months after Japanese student Ryo Oyamada was killed by a cop car in Queens, the Oyamada family's attorney says the NYPD still refuses to release any information that might shed light on the 24-year-old's death; now, he and the Oyamadas are suing the city for $8 million, citing gross negligence on the part of the patrol car's driver, and they're demanding the NYPD disclose any surveillance tapes or other evidence they're withholding from the night of the crash.
Oyamada, who lived in Queensbridge at the time of his death, was struck by a patrol car in his neighborhood just after midnight on February 21st; though the NYPD's accident report maintained that the car—which the NYPD says was responding to an emergency call at the Queensbridge projects nearby—was traveling with its emergency lights "engaged", various witnesses reported that the car had neither its lights nor its siren on. Attorney Jeffrey Kim says he believes the NYPD has surveillance video that would confirm whether or not the car's lights were on, in addition to the speed of the car and whether or not Oyamada was jaywalking when he was hit—the accident report alleges that Oyamada was crossing in the middle of the street. But the NYPD has withheld all evidence from the family, and Kim says they will continue to withhold it unless he can obtain it through litigation.

Fuck the cops. I'm sure there are good ones but I cant stand them. If you choose to be a cop then fuck you don't care who you are. Nothing but bad experiences with them. This is hilarious and the dude should keep it up.
