Anyway,Sister Ray.
Tired a topic as it seems this song has teached a few dynamics and end-it-all to a few musicians. As it's one of the moodiest pieces of musics in the canon of notes, which one do you think is the best bit?
|
all of it. perfect song.
|
Yeah but which bit is the most inspirational for you?
|
A few things that i got from the Velvet Underground:
Basses sound sexy when they seem to be played backwards.Electronic elements played crudely on a guitar are the best.So forth............ |
Bump
Listen to how the bass phrases itself. Not intentional but it created a sort of nomadic way of playing it. |
The whole WL/WH record is amazing. Leave it at that!
|
Well.....
|
a good friend of mine is in a band called Sister Ray, and they end every show with a cover of the song.
i really wanna dropkick the whole lot of em. |
I was watching the movie Brick. At the end, during the credits, this song plays.
A couple days later, while I was listening to Sister Ray on my ipod and I was thinking of the movie Brick, my dad asks me about the game Brick on the ipod. I was very fucking confused because I thought he was talking about the movie. |
