Spy Music festival - Manhattan Sept 7 / Brooklyn Sept 8
Northern Spy presents the third annual Spy Music Festival
Greetings music fans! It’s time for SPY FEST again and this year we’ve teamed up with Six Point Brewery and Tiny Mix Tapes to bring you a two day blowout of Northern Spy bands! We have an insane line up in store for you guys, with the likes of Thurston Moore, Loren Connors, Charles Gayle, and more. The celebration is set to go down Sept 7th at Spectrum in Manhattan and Sept 8th at 285 Kent in Brooklyn, and will also consist of some killer DJ sets, giveaways and all the Northern Spy merch you could want. Come out and party with us on our third birthday!

The Sep 7 line up is pretty good but its up against the FU's reunion. I think I saw them once before they became the Strawdogs. Saw the strawdogs a couple times, once I recall, I drove down to Cambridge with Lisa and Rachel, long before there was any suckdogs, and Lisa was really hot for their drummer Bones, who died a short time later.

Well, Caught on Tape had to cancel and take that station to station date. We're sad, but it's not the end of the world. We will be doing a show with them in the future - look out for it!
