Does anybody like them? I felt bad for them because people and orcas prey on them.

i like sharks. i hate all the bullshit shark phobia everyone has cos of jaws. FACT people - sharks are so unlikely to attack you - it's amazing. saw it in a documentary. sharks aren't the badass killers people think. they are just the clutzy oaf in the playground picking on the weak tiny kids. they can't change direction very well at all. it takes them fucking ages or something i think. sharks just do their natural thing and all these humans get uppity and scared of them. leave the sharks alone dammit. they are just solid dudes. creatures like all of us. they look kinda cool. like bitey phallus's. wait - did i just stumble upon something? is the peoples view on the shark due to them looking like a phallus with teeth?

White sharks are beautiful creatures that are on the endangered list.
There's a 15 km strip just off the coast of South Africa called "Shark Alley",
and if you swim there, you'll get nabbed for sure by the notorious Carcharodon carcharias.

the is an exception to the rule though, some species of shark have been known to attack unprovoked, among them the Oceanic Whitetip, Tiger, Great White, and the most dangerous the Bull Shark which accounts for most of the attacks in the world not only cause they are very aggressive and unpredictable, but they can tolerate Fresh Water as well

the phobia is overinflated for sure, one just has to remember they are the ones with sharp teeth

i think they are amazing animals and should be protected but i am seriously scared of sharks and deep water. toko that picture gets me every time even though it is a rubber shark.

haha no i think i could handle that one. i do like watching documentaries about sharks and i find them fascinating. honest.

when i was in greece i went snorkling and went out really far so that the ocean floor was well below me and all i could hear was the jaws theme.

i love sharks, i have a friend who is super scared of them (even in swimming pools!) and she got me interested in them.
