inspired by the bleach single ebay thread - i decided to make one for us to show off/talk about our nirvana collections. cos i know some of you have them.

and the obligatory hundreds of CDR and a few DVDR shows.

what i am really after is more vinyl. the puss/oh the guilt 7'', the priest they called him 7'' and that's prob all i'm ever likely to be able to get my hands on. i'm considering selling the hormoaning CD but not sure yet.

also i was thinking - do you reckon in a few years time the prices of things like the love buzz single will go down or up?

I think soonish, I'll have a couple of cd singles... other than that, I have all the albums and the Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! vhs+dvd... Shit collection hahaha.

i have all the cds, i dont bother getting the bootle concert shit, its all on the internet anyway. Tons of unofficial dvds (all terrible), box set, sliver:best of the box. Interview cd, Original fecal matter tapes ( lol i wish), live tonight sold out dvd/vhs, year punk broke tv recording(not really NIRVANA i know but still, they are on it). vcd of mtv in utero concert, french tv concert thing, and some recording off of mtv(lots of bits from live tonight sold out)

I own nothing related to Nirvana, except a few songs Inhuman sent me.

I've got all the Outcesticides...The ones on Blue Moon, not the cheap immitations. 1 is the remaster though I think. And a bunch of live bootlegs that I never listen to anymore and should get round to selling sometime.

I have all of the official albums plus some cd singles. I also have a bunch of good quality live shows and dvds. You guys shouldn't buy bootlegs since you can get almost all of the stuff in way better quality through trading and through torrents.

If you guys download torrents, check this site out. It is almost entirely Nirvana shit.

And there is currently a torrent with 3 fecal matter songs which are unreleased. They are mp3 sourced but they are the only ones available. The asshole that has the tape won't release all of it in lossless form, he/she only released these songs in mp3 format.

Also check this site out. The amount of information it has is insane. It is a nice companion for live show collectors.

Since there's so much available all the time due to Nirvana's exceedingly devoted fan base, I've tended to make them a lower priority sometimes.

Yeah, they are very devoted. They have this guy at the site I posted earlier who remasters live shows in audiophile quality. They sound great. And the informational site I posted earlier has an insane amount of information. I recently started collecting rarer Nirvana shit and I have to say that I like the fanbase. I wish SY had more fans like that.

i have all the official releases including the oh the guilt 7inch and the priest they calld him 10 inch and i wont part with any. i have a few bootlegs but my nirvana collection is fine except i do need one or two choice live dvd boots....

I got the outcesticide's plus another 10 bootlegs. I sold alot of the early bootlegs on ebay to help pay for my jazzmaster.

Vinyl: Unplugged (white), 12" Nevermind singles (pic dics), In Utero, Muddy Banks (Pic disc - fake), Smells Like Teen Shit (German pic disc)

+all the official cds and loads of tapes and cd singles. I'd bought all of this before I was 14, I don't really listen to them anymore.

For the record Amsterdam Paradise is the best bootleg that I own, it's the concert with the amazing messy version of come as you are on the live tonight sold out video.

at my peak i did quite a bit of collecting, off the top of my head lets see

all major releasing (also found a first CD pressing of Nevermind, which includes Endless Nameless, geffen stopped those just after about 49k copies) two compilation appearances (beavis and butthead experience and no alternative)

Muddy Banks of the Wishkah and In Utero on 12", SLTS, Sliver, Heart Shaped Box and All Apologies/Rape Me on 7"(last two quite limited euro releases)

two pressed bootlegs: First Live Show and Trick or Treat

The CD Single Box Set, a promo copy of You Know You're Right, and the prize of the set, a Pennyroyal Tea CD Single, uncertain how many weren't destroyed, there are more pirate copies of it then there are real ones

That one's overrated, I think the one where you can hear him taking a shit is the best.
