1. I don't know... I've just watched A LOT of slashers, and to me there's just a certain feel that I get from 2 (and 3) that falls in the realm of perfect 80s slashers. Don't get me wrong -- one is amazing. But it's more serious than 2 and 3. Not that I like comedy-horror, but 2 and 3 walked the line well.
2. CF2 is just lazy writing to me. "think of the grossest shit you can and I"ll put it in my movie! Yaaay! Teenagers like it! Yaaaay!" Just doesn't do anything for me.
3. Again, I give credit where credit's due. It's due on House Devil, just not on CF2.
