Touch of Evil and Out of the Past are amazing. Touch has probably the weirdest casting ever though in Charlton Heston.

Pretty interesting film, I'm not sure if there was a purpose in mind, but I think I can sort of see the edges of the nebula of what it was about. Though I'd hesitate to speculate until I saw it again.

That being said, I just thought it was ok...well let me phrase it this way. I thought the beginning was rather dull with some moments of interest. But ultimately I just kind of had a whatever vibe to it. That is until the 'prophets' portion when he goes after the four Masters of the Gun. That whole section of the film is incredible! There are just some amazing bits there, the nihilism, the antithetical thinking, the rabbits! That 20 minute period or however long it was was really stellar.

Then the movie got pretty lame again, though I liked the church bit with the members playing russian roulette to gamble with God, that part was cool. Strangest rollercoaster of quality this film.
