not true, if you cook it long and low (lower the heat in the pan and cook it longer to keep it tender and juicy) and buy a slightly fattier cut of meat like Top Round you get a much more delicious burger, I promise you
also, even with hamburger, you should only flip the meat once to preserve tenderness and flavor
