what are you talking "it's the bands fault if you hear nothing"
i don't hear nothing, the sound quality is not that bad, i can hear what's happening fine, the situation is not anywhere near that
i mean look at it this way, django reinhardt's recordings don't have good sound quality either but people think he's a good guitarist.
that's fine because even though the fidelity isn't perfect you can hear the notes and rhythms etc. pretty well, which is alot different than hearing nothing. i agree, it's not fair to judge a band if you hear nothing.
i've enjoyed things with much worse sound.
it's not the sound that ruined it for me.
it's the fact that the music consists of a synth going OOoooOOoooOO while a guy from north who doesn't have a deep voice tries to sound like a rapper with a very deep voice and very thick southern accent
he doesn't do anything interesting with his vocal tone(unnappealing) or rhythm(clumsy)
so the only thing that changes in the course of the track is the lyrics.
the lyrics try to create a dark and intimidating atmosphere but don't do so
he keeps doing this semi-contradicting thing which is totally uninteresting "i could get you right, but you ain't tryin ta get right" "i talk real loud, i don't wanna hear myself" "i'd kill myself, haaa, not myself"
while trying to create some kind of mystical, demented atmosphere through his lyrics he says stuff like
"you down with shit, now my dick hard go down on it haaa"
seriously if talking about choking ghosts out of people and coming back to life and shit jocular toilet humour does not enchance the sort of atmosphere you are trying to create with music
recorded output can differ vastly from onstage sure, but i don't want to listen to the recorded output of the guy who did one of the worst performances i've ever seen. the fact that this guy sucks that bad live and was willing to go on stage is just embarassing
i mean this was genuinely one of the worst things i've ever heard i'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt because the sound quality wasn't absolutely perfect, the only thing i had any diffculty hearing was the bassline, and the best bassline of all time could not save that performance
