That's because I am so far from being hip and when I lived there, was also a broke homebody junkie. I don't know where you thought I said/meant that. I only go to dance and dubstep shows and do obscene amounts of drugs in dirty bathrooms. I did live with, by all standards known to me, the crustiest 'hipster' I've ever met. And I lived in Uptown. It was horrid.
What I'm trying to say in the quoted post is, aren't we all just saying each other are hipsters based on our perceived internet personas? Doesn't that make us hipsters?
