I hate that date thing. I work with files all day, and have to go through dates and stuff and I'm never quite sure whether it's day/month or month/day. 99% of the time it's month/day, but then there will be the occasion where I see something like 25/6/03 and I get a bit worried about the whole system...

Nuh uh. It's right. A Brazilian is not American, even though he may live in a continent called South America. You may dispute whether it makes sense or should be this way, but it is correct.
