i see your point but you don't know how each of the 4 members was feeling or dealing with the situation they were in in circa 1988-89 its well noted how unhappy they were with Homestead and SST and then the way things shook down w/ Enigma/Blast First for Daydream... I guess it was all about timing and w/ DGC it all felt right for them, i have no quams with what they did its not really my problem nor anyone elses to say the least.
however the recruitment thing they did in the early 90's was kinda weird but it doesn't bother me, with bands like Cell and Gumball whom didn't really belong on major labels.
Albini seems to just loves to say stuff to cause a rouse yet it also seems to conflict with the "ethics" he preaches.
