The 3rd annual Hoboken Music Awards takes place this Saturday at Maxwells. The event hosted by Dave Entwistle & Stephen Bailey celebrates local acts in and around the Hoboken area. A ton of bands/musicians are nominated for awards including NJU favs Waking Lights, The Front Bottoms, The Nico Blues and Those Mockingbirds. You can check out the full list of nominees here. Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, The Star Ledger music journalist Tris McCall and WHDA radio personiality Lindsay Klein. The event starts at 8:30PM with $8 admission.
