one time i ran into the band (sans steve) at the noho fairgrounds. this was in september 2000 i think. i had my journal with me and asked them to sign my book. kim, thurston, and lee all drew little pictures in my book. kim wrote "go daddy." lee wrote "the road to everywhere begins here." thurston probably wrote some fucked up shit. one year later, almost to the day, my house burned down, and with it, that journal.
since them, ive never asked them for an autograph when ive run into them around town :-\
but i sure would love to have those pages back. damn fires!
