I definitely understand. When bands shift or change styles it's hard to view their new styles objectively, and not just see the absence of the old style.
But, funnily enough, I think their biggest change, and the one that lead to all the others, was from the twisted nightmare of Sister to the pristine daydream of... well... Daydream
