This may sound weird, but I've developed this thing against the solo singer/songwriter. Even the Tom Waits kind, good as the guy is. I'm sucked in by the whole band thing now, even if it's nominally a band, like two guys doing Black Dice or Wolf Eyes. Has to "feel" to me like a band album. I don't know why exactly. I go through these weird phases. Next month I'll probably kick myself when that Rain Dogs Lp is gone.
