I've only been properly arrested once, for drink driving. I was only 17 and on a moped but I was way over the limit. I had to spend the night in a cell and got a big fine and banned from driving for a year. It could've been worse as I had a block of hash on me but for some reason they never searched me when they pulled me over, maybe because I cooperated fully with them.... when I was in the back of the Police car being taken to the station I slipped the hash into my sock, they didn't even search me at the station.
I remember getting home after they released me in the morning and having a big smoke before I had to go to work and tell my boss what had happened....
