Yeah, the roomie was out when I got home, so I assumed he was there. He was just getting food though...and told me Swans was last night so unfortunately we both missed it.
Place is fucking amazing. Met tons of cool folk and seen some cool places. Need to get off my lazy ass and take some pics. Any recomendations on decent dives/venues? I've checked out Mutiny (which I like, even if it's a bit adolescent in way), Liars (kick ass place), Delilahs (punk rock monday is fun, even though some of the clientele can be a bit snobby)...eh, some other randomness. The Chicago Art Institute museum is quite amazing. That giant bean at the park. Yeah, man. Way different than Macon, GA. There are aspects of the south I miss, sans friends which I miss a lot, most of it's rather trivial. Easier to make a decent wage here. People are stranger. Almost impossible to be a "character" so to speak.
