Yes. People often ask me why did I turn out to be so assertive about what I'm trying to say. This is because my life has taught me there's no other way. If you're being nice about it, you're not being heard. If you become assertive, you get accused of being a bitch. In either case, every effort is made to not take your point seriously. You've seen how small I am so that becomes even more vital. I actually had to learn to be as scary as I can be, it's a matter of survival. This thread is sad evidence. Whenever men find that they can 'get away with it', they'll gang up and try to silence you no matter how far they have to go. It's only bad when YOU (the woman is aggressive) when they are, they're just 'reacting'. It's only when other males come to the 'rescue' that they would tone it down. It's so obvious it's embarassing. Here's good evidence of that:
