I would say it was better than Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

In Clerks II, Jay and Silent Bob are not as prominent as they were in other Kevin Smith movies. They are important in the movie in the same way they are important in the first Clerks.

The color film makes sense with the movie, as well as most of the soundtrack (although not as good as the original Clerks soundtrack, I was hoping Olaf would make an appearance.)

The message in the movie is a bit more fulfilling than "shit or get off the pot."

I'd say I'm more of a Clerks fan than a Kevin Smith fan. I don't praise everything that Kevin Smith does, but I really, really love Clerks, and I found Clerks II lives up to it.

I do hope an unrated version or extended version gets released. I'd really love to see Randall pissing off customers more.
