Nope. The Gospels explicitly state that Jesus Christ started an institutional Church, and established it through His Apostles. Ok. That was almost preaching, but I don't care if you chose to be Catholic or not so much as feel the need to clarify for the sake of historical accuracy

folks are free to accept, believe, or feel however they like, I just want to make sure their facts are well-informed to make their decisions.
