I'm totally thrown off this year. As incredible as Yeezus is (made me cry a little today... Not gonna lie), it's only fair to give it more than a day before placing it above new releases by a shitload of my favorite bands and artists of all time.
So I'm still going to have to say "the Terror" is at the top of the list. I could rattle off a top five for the fuck of it, and Yeezus would most definitely be in there. It's the best hip hop album of the year, but whether I prefer it to new MBV, Deerhunter, or Boards of Canada... That will require some serious consideration.
