Most of the beats sound bleak, and Earl himself sounds sad sometimes, but that vibe gets cut by beautiful, soothing instrumental outros that bring a lot of hope.. that's the thing that makes IDLSIDGO brilliant for me. And if you really pay attention to the lyrics then you'll find out that the content isn't even that depressing for the most part.. Sev is right that the general vibe is very "grey" though, yes. But why is that a bad thing? Since when is it "wrong" to be sad, anyway?
