I just wish everyone wasn't so focused on the 2nd Amendment comment because it makes it so easy to dismiss the other more dangerous comments as if they were somehow similar.
Lets be grown ups here. Lets criticize what is fair to criticize, lets shrug off what is not really a big deal.

if you put those comments right in the very context you describe you'll see that he's playing with matches next to a gasoline barrel. same with his claims that the election is rigged. so yes, if you look at each word in isolation it can mean a lot of things, but in context--no seņor. in context he's teasing the death cock of hate and getting it hard. the fucker is an irresponsible madman unfit to be a small town mayor much less president of the USA.
and OF COURSE the democrats are going to milk that for all it's worth. that doesn't invalidate the stupid blunder. a politician's #1 job is to control their fucking piehole.
