Dude. I love you, so maybe lets not talk about Bruno Mars. If you like him, and find joy in his music, I'm
genuinely happy for you. Seriously. Happiness is rare, and the things that bring it are invaluable, and I wouldn't begrudge you even the most trivial foot-tapping joy from listening to music, no matter who makes it or where it comes from.
But I have nothing good to say about the guy, except that he can do stuff that anyone who practices enough can do (sing, play instruments, produce). I hate his stupid voice and his stupid hat and even his name makes my fists clench.

I can bloody well play music. I first picked up the guitar at age 10. Done ok with it in the subsequent 20-something years. Picked up a few other things too. In my opinion, just being able to DO something doesn't really mean anything. It's doing it in a new, original, mind-expanding kind of way that's important. And that's not Bruno Mars. And it's obviously not me, because nobody's talking about my ass or throwing their panties at me, and I'm certainly not rolling in dough.
