5. Travis Scott - AstroWorld

H.M: Buddy - Harlan & Alondra, Mac Miller - SWIMMING, Nas - Nasir, Jay Rock - Redemption, August Greene - Self-Titled, Maxo Kream - Punken

So far for me:

1. Kanye West - Ye/Kids See Ghosts (neither feels like a full album on its own, but they’re both so goddamn good that my #1 spot might be a tie for the first time ever. They also feel like two separate parts of a potential full-length Kanye album)
2. Pusha T - DAYTONA
3. JPEGMafia - Veteran
4. Does Young Fathers count as hip-hop? If so ... Young Fathers - Cocoa Sugar
5. I guess Astroworld, but... it’s only half a good album. And it’s *way* more than one step down from Young Fathers.

Honorable mention: Nas - Nasir (I really don’t like the way Nas sounds on this thing... raping about anti-vaccer shit and some other truly cringe topics... I am not feeling Nas as an artist at all anymore... but this thing was Kanye-produced, and the production kills); A$AP Rocky - Testing; Fuck... who cares anymore

I haven’t heard Denzel Curry yet.
