Cutting dairy out was what got me to the "next level" in terms of my physique. Might not work for everyone, and giving up cheese is of course definitely not for everyone...

20-30% of the population reacts poorly to dairy. one must know one's guts.
cheese, aged hard cheese specifically, is hyper nutritious, if your body can handle the proteins.
as far as bananas, they are great food, but not for someone trying to lose weight or to stave off diabetes. (or as Mac in Always Sunny says, "Stage 2 adult-onset die-a-bettis?")
