Ok, I’ve watched through episode 3 of Season 8 at this point, and I have to say I don’t really get where the hate is coming from.
I mean, sure the writing has taken a dip. Sure the characters are less complex and the pacing is more TV than book, but it’s still such an amazingly crafted show. Like, Jesus Fucking Christ some of the cinematography is just mind blowing.
It’s all GRRM’a fault for writing at a snail’s pace.
The show had no right to do this well without source material to fall back on, and yet it’s done this well. So whatever.
