This forum has a notorious history of being cliquish and ganging up on posters who aren't as involved in the social group.
All I posted was a harmless one liner and completely forgot about it. Then I visit the forum a few weeks later and the next thing you know, I find the obsessive Genteel fella makes it personal and starts acting creepy. After that, the Signs dude (whom I actually never had any problem with before), jumps in his defense.. lame as hell of course, those two middle aged men were making completely asses of themselves. Dumb and Dumber in motion.
Petty, but what can you do?

Anyway, I was initially amused to see Billie Eilish being so protected in here, but after giving it some thought, not really surprised.. it's the Taylor Swift syndrome. Some of the hate Billie Eilish gets is completely justified by the way (e.g. her exploitation of hip hop culture, which Sev already brought up). I think she's talented, but the whisper-goth-hop shit is just okay (too edgy and tryhard-ish). The Lorde/Lana Del Rey ripoff shit she was making before is better, but nothing revolutionary.
If you genuinely love her like Skulj does (I 100% believe him) then cool, do your thing. If you don't - don't force it. Plenty of young people shit on her.
I saw the YouTube videos of both Billie and her brother listing their favorite songs.. and I wasn't impressed. Just your typical social outcast/mall goth taste, you know - Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Tyler, Gambino, etc. Paris Jackson came off as much more charming, interesting and intelligent than both. Just my opinion.
