I'm not a big fan myself. However I did see him live a few years ago when he hosted Meltdown (is that what it's called?) at the RFH. I had actually gone to see Coil and he was opening for them. His music I found nothing spectacular but his in-between banter was worth going to see alone. He is an incredibly funny and clever man and The Modern Antiquarian is a fantastic book.
