My poetry's better than that. Marginally.
I've adapted this one for Kitty's benefit, Pookie.
Kitty had a little duck
Who didn't have much hair,
All that Kitty's ducky had
Was feathers everywhere.
She took him to the barber's
To get a little trim,
The barber he just took one look
And said "I can't do him".
Ducky wanted spiky hair
He wanted to be punk
Instead he had a bald patch
And he looked like a monk.
Ducky got a crew cut
But he did not like that,
He thought that it looked silly,
So now he wears a hat!
If she likes that one, I have more. One about a one-legged duck and one about a duck's trip to the seaside.
