i got tired of reading it last year and haven't bought it in ages, the people who write for it are all too old & serious if you ask me, and it's so po faced.
I went through a similar phase but i never missed an issue for the past 12 years.I miss NME's point entirely but i have been buying it since i was a kid.It's my dough and i do what i like with it.The Wire,like it or not,is the best and most informative music magazine out there that isn't printed on some cheap A4 sheets of paper.And,damn it!!!!,the free cds that they give away,you do actually feel like listening to them.
