Our biology teacher left to transfer to another school without notice, so we've been getting this fat middle-aged lady as a substitute the last few days. She doesn't know diddly squat about biology so she's been having us watch kid movies instead. We also had her for a College Study Skills substitute- our real teacher was pretty upset to learn she had us watch Garfield instead of teaching from the lesson plan.

My school has block schedule as well. Four (hour 1/2) classes one semester and four the other semester. It's not so bad, really, unless the class is really dragging along.
