I wouldn't want to mess with the natural cycle of things.

I think good ol' mother earth can support a lot more than she has on her if utilized correctly. Think vertically. Instead of Levittowns, we should be building viking like huts furnished modernly with adequate space for families with agriculture growing above them. You gotta think vertically. Look at the Jetsons.
