I got it from the same torrent. I was never able to burn that video to a disc (except as data) for some reason (encryption perhaps?).

Rabbits is fairly tedious viewing, chiefly because one "gets" the satire quickly, but there's nothing as a payoff from the setup, making it somewhat of a satire of a satire.
As an "experimental" film short, it's stupendous, maybe (for it's atmosphere & formal qualities) one of the best I've ever seen.
As an actual short movie with content though, it's trademark later Lynch "weird-for-the-sake-of-being-weird" kooky garbage because there just isn't much there; the static camera certainly doesn't help matters either.
The only implied narrative I can discern is that it's biting commentary on the vacousness & loss of meaning in society performed by a bunch of people in rabbit-costumes, rabbits being a mythological symbol for the trickster in few cultures.

It does suck (rather profoundly) that both Davids, Lynch & Bowie, charge a membership fee to join their respective sites. I'd like to find some free torrents of Lynch's Dumbland animated shorts.

In visual art for instance, color field painting (think Barnett Newman) has never been a favorite. I love non-objective abstraction, but you gotta give me some kind of content, some mental cue.
