I dunno, I like the album. I spun most of the time I was at work. So far my favorite song is probably we dance alone, but it all seems good. It doesn't cary itself as much as guero, but in light of it's newness I currently like it more.

Also, on the odelay sound notes... I don't really consider guero or information to be in the odelay vein really. I kinda hear that and think it's cop-out for saying 'it's a beck album that sounds like beck... but odelay'. Just because there's hip hop influence doesn't mean he's trying for odelay. HE;s been saying this one's a hip hop album, which i can see. I dunno, at least to me odelay is in the it's own class of undefinable. It's just beck... and fuckin amazing.

Duran Duran's 1995 covers album Thank You was recently voted the worst album of all time by a Q magazine poll. Although we respectfully disagree (Sonic Youth's NYC Ghosts & Flowers is clearly the worst album of all time) -Pitchfork (hahahah!)
