No, seriously though, I'm a big fan of the man. Early stuff and later stuff. Because, in many ways, his music was fab. And also the whole vulgarity of rock star excess (which is, for me, much more interesting in pop stars than in rock stars). And the whole cultural icon thing. And Heartbreak Hotel. And Guitar Man. And Marie's the Name. And Old Shep. And Always on my Mind. And so on. And that he couldn't play guitar. And that he was a dumb hick. And that he was a brilliant theif. And because he brought sexyback.

Thought you might like to know. I've noted a few anti-Elvis type sentiments here lately, and I for one do not approve.
