I do hear you on the dollar value thing with the Wire. Accompanying CD comps help make up for that somewhat, but really, the musical scope of all these mags (and really, who can beat the dollar value of a
free Arthur mag?) leaves a lot to be desired as far as I'm concerned. These mags hardly loosen their collar enough to write about anything that's actually "fun" or slightly "low-brow." It's a big reason contributing to why I started my own blog......besides a few other bloggers and Blastitude.com, it's like no one's covering this stuff!
