Could be any number of things. I personally quite like buzz. Loose connections/ shitty cable/ old amp/ new amp/ moisture/ lack of moisture... that sort of thing. If it worries you that much I'd take it back to the shop.
Or, you could do like that chap out of Reynols did and make a record of the hums and buzzes of amplifiers without guitars.
