I've been on tv and on the radio before, but never performing. (TV- I was doing a local high school trivia challenge my senior year, we won bitches!) and I've been on radio as a DJ. Dj'ing is pretty natural I find, but being in front of a TV camera can be a little daunting.
Bring a pair of sunglasses though. Those TV lights can be bright as hell. Try not to look into them.
Just go about it like you go about a show I'd say. Don't worry about how you look. Just play your music and have fun.
This reminds me I need to set-up to get one of my bands to do a radio broadcast.
