When I read this I thought, only in the armpits of America (the rural or country areas of Kentucky) could something like this happen.
The only decent places in Kentucky are the cities and the two to visist are Louisville and Lexington. A lot of good bands are from both these places, so there is generally speaking a decent music scene. Aside from that, most of the country is polluted with trailor parks, rednecks and beat up pick up trucks, although if you find a secluded spot, it is fun to go camping or hiking in the fall, just bring a large knife or gun.
