Good topic.

It was a rebroadcast, but I watched it. The calls were being received by fast food restaurants all over the country and strip seaches were performed all over the place, so, to be fair, it wasn't just Kentucky.

The latter half of the program centered around a follow-up that showed the trial and subsequent acquittal in Kentucky (who extradited the defendant) of the prison security guard guy in Panama City, FL that was certainly the culprit. One of the phone cards was found in his home along with other suspicious materials; there was somewhat inconclusive video evidence from store surveillance cameras of him buying the cards used. What is of note as well is that since the trial, no more fast food restaurants have gotten the criminal calls.
